King 98 scoops several awards at Zim Hip Hop awards.

Local hip hop artist King 98 walked away with three awards at the recently held Zim Hip Hop awards. The young rapper was awarded best Hip hop hustle, album of the year and best collabo awards. King 98 is indeed a force to reckon in the music industry in Zim. He has managed to achieve big milestones and collaborated with some of the best artists in Africa including Nasty C.

King 98 expressed gratitude to the almighty for being recognized and confessed that he did not know that he would get this far. He remarked,”I started music in 2011 and I never thought that I would be accepted by everyone. Music has made me realize that it doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor,’started from the bottom is for everyone”. The young rapper is currently headlining for Nasty C on his Ivyson tour which he commenced in South Africa.

King 98 has had a successful year in 2019. He managed to launch his own album titled Francessca to which an array of stars graced the occasion. The launch was marked by perfomances from Nadia Nakai,Nasty C and a whole list of local singers. He also collaborated with Nasty C on the song Wacko. King 98 is indeed a crucial piece of the puzzle in terms of marketing local talent beyond the country’s boarders. Most fans congratulated the singer for winning the awards.
