Nominations for the African Women Awards 2016 Opening On The 15 April 2016
African Women Awards presented by the African Women Association is pleased to announce that the call for nominations for the second edition will be open as from 15 April 2016 until 17 June 2016. African Women Association, which was founded by Carol Nyazika and Lisa Chiriseri, will be hosting the second edition of the African Women Awards on the 3rd of December 2016 in Harare Zimbabwe. The venue will be confirmed.
After hosting a successful award ceremony last year, the AWA team are dedicated to produce and are working on hosting yet another unforgettable evening for all the nominees and VIP guests. The 2015 edition saw the awards draw out the Minister of Women’s Affairs, Gender and Community Development, Ambassadors and representatives. Nominees and guests also flew in from different parts of the continent and
The shortlist will be announced on 22nd of July and tickets will also be available as from the 22nd of July.
AWA encourage everyone from all over Africa to submit the names of individuals they would like to nominate before the closing date. You can submit your nominations via the AWA website www.africanwomenawards.com or their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/awassociation/
