Getty Scholar Grants 2018

Getty Scholar Grants are for established scholars and writers who have performed excellently in their distinct fields. Their objective is to help the scholars pursue their projects free from academic obligations and participate in the intellectual life of the Getty.

Benefits

The participants shall get a chance to gain the following:

• a three-month residency with a grant of $17,200

• a six-month residency with a grant of $42,000

• a nine-month residency with a grant of $65,000

Eligibilities

The applicants must:

• be researchers working in the fields of arts, humanities, or social sciences

• not be current Getty staff or their immediate family members

• not be recent recipients of Getty Scholar award
