Wenyika releases hot new video.

Local songbird Plaxedes Wenyika recently released a video for her new single Zvekare. The urban grooves crooner did a stunning job on the song and her high notes are simply marvelous. The song is a celebration of love and is full of romantic lyrics. Speaking about the song Wenyika remarked,”We are trying to portray a love that is not obvious,the other side of love”.

Wenyika had earlier on seny social media into overdrive when she posted a pic from the video with a hunky model. People had been quick to assume that she was parading her new man. This came after piecing together that the beautiful singer had divorced her husband of 13 years,Mike Joka early this year.

Wenyika had gone quiet for some years and her fans had losg all hope that she would return to the studio. The new song has been positively reviewed by most of her fans. The singer has indeed lived up to expectations and maintained her singing standards.

Wenyika rose to fame during the urban grooves era in Zimbabwe. She was one of the pioneers of urban contemporary music. She released hit songs such as Wadarireiko and Ramangwana rirongere. Most of her songs had romantic lyrics.
