Marshal Munetsi signed in by Adidas

Local football stars are certainly getting recognition from various stakeholders abroad. Warriors midfielder Marshall Munetsi is smiling all the way to the bank after recently signing a sponsorship deal with German sportswear giant Adidas. The soccer player was ecstatic as he revealed the milestone.

The young soccer player who is only 24 years old made the announcement on his Twitter account recently. He posted an image of himself holding the Adidas Copa 20.1 boots and wrote, “New beginnings@adidasfootball#copa#Godisgreat”. The young soccer star was clearly on cloud nine as he shared the great news with fans.

In spite of having made such impressive footballing feats, Munetsi had no contract with any outfitter since arriving in France in 2019. The deal comes only six months after the midfielder signed an extension with his French top flight side State de Reims. Munetsi has established himself as one of the best soccer players the country has ever produced. He has also managed to play in various positions in mid field and defence this season.

Soccer players are often head hunted by various companies due to their influence on and off the soccer field. Another such example is Willard Katsande who has appeared on various ads including that of Vodacom.

Fans congratulated the star for his latest achievement.The humble faced player who grew up in Mabvuku is definitely soaring to greater heights. Some people have attributed his success to his good deeds and charity work. The star has been paying school fees for several kids in his hometown. Munetsi certainly deserves the good things coming his way
