Zimbabwean Scholarship Recipient Receives Three Top Education Awards In America

Life is never going to be the same for Hatinawedu Mupiwa who came from humble beginnings having struggled to raise money for school in Nyanga Manicaland Province to now being a top achiever in America.

Hatinawedu got a breakthrough when he received a scholarship to study in America at Berea College where he majored in Computer and Information Science and Mathematics. He graduated a few days ago with flying colors.

He received the T.J Wood Achievement Award given to a graduating senior person for outstanding scholarship and excellent contributions to the life and work of Berea College, the Steve Boyce Mathematics Award presented to senior mathematics majors for excellent in the field.

He also received the Charles Bishop Spangler Mathematics Award established by Dr Bishop Patrick Spangler. Talk about winning!

Mupiwa has since been offered a job by international banking giant Goldman Sachs. Word is Google and Microsoft are also eying the young Zimbabwean.

Congratulations to Hatinawedu! Get used to this name, we know we’re  going to hear more on him in the future.
