Elvis Moyo seals dembare move
Dynamos have maintained their aggression on the transfer market after on Monday announcing the signing of defender Elvis Moyo from Bulawayo Chiefs.
After letting go of last season’s captain Patson Jaure Dynamos have now strengthened their backline with the acquisition of Moyo. Moyo’s signing comes a few days after rock solid Frank Mukarati extended his stay at Dynamos.
Having had stints with FC Platinum, Chippa United and Bulawayo Chiefs, Moyo will be looking to add grit to the Dynamos defense and make use of experience gained over the years as he seeks to become a key component in dembare’s revival.
Elvis Moyo’s signing will add depth to the Dynamos left back position where Moyo is expected to battle it out with Tinotenda Muringai who featured regularly for the glamour boys last season.
Dynamos are on a rebuilding exercise following the departure of Tonderayi Ndiraya who is now with Simba Bhora. To date Dynamos have managed to tie down Elvis Moyo, Arthur Musiiwa, Nyasha Chintuli, Tendayi Matindife, and Eli Lunga who proved a handful while at Black Rhinos.
Having started pre-season training before the Christmas break, Dynamos are looking to fast track their transfer business so as to give Herbert Maruwa adequate time to prepare the squad ahead of the 2023 season.
With the Premier Soccer League yet to release dates of when the 2023 season will begin clubs are seeking to be adequately prepared when the announcement is made. Since the turn of the new year, Dynamos have been engaged in intense training and the acquisition of new players is set to bolster a squad which will want to make an impression in the forthcoming season.
