Wanqoba Concert to Ignite Bulawayo with Powerful Praise and Worship

Worshippers in Bulawayo are in for an unforgettable experience as Harvest House International Church partners with acclaimed gospel artist Janet Manyowa for the highly anticipated Wanqoba concert. Set to take place on December 12, 2024, at the Harvest House International Conference Centre, this event promises an evening filled with powerful praise, worship, and inspiration.

Joy Nyathi, the creative and marketing head for Harvest House Events, shared the excitement with NewsDay Life & Style, highlighting the unique collaboration between the church and Janet Manyowa. “We have Janet Manyowa, who is planning the show. Hence, it’s a partnership between Harvest House and Manyowa to bring this incredible event to life. We also have Harvest Music, the resident choir of Harvest House International Church, Minister Michael Mahendere from Harare, Joyful Praise, and Lorraine Maplanka,” Nyathi said.

Adding to the star-studded lineup, South African gospel artists Lebo Sekgobela and Khaya Mthethwa will also grace the stage, ensuring an exciting fusion of Zimbabwean and South African gospel talent. “It’s an amazing mix, with talented musicians from both Zimbabwe and South Africa coming together. There’s something for everyone,” Nyathi remarked.

The Wanqoba concert is part of the larger Harvest House Conference, which will run from December 12 to 15, coinciding with the official opening of the Harvest House International Conference Centre. This significant occasion promises to elevate the worship experience, drawing believers and music lovers alike to a night of celebration and spiritual empowerment.

Nyathi encourages attendees to come prepared for an exceptional evening, emphasizing that each artist brings a fresh and dynamic offering to the event. “Every artiste on the lineup has a unique and exciting ability to sing and minister. People should come ready to experience God in a profound way,” she said.

With such a stellar lineup and the promise of an electrifying atmosphere, the Wanqoba concert is set to be an event to remember for the Bulawayo community and beyond.
