Feli Nandi’s Grand Album Launch: A Night of Music, Emotion, and Surprises at 7 Arts Theatre

Songstress Feli Nandi is set to launch her highly anticipated second studio album, Ndisiyei, tomorrow at 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale. The album serves as a heartfelt reflection of her journey in the music industry, showcasing her growth as an artist.
Ndisiyei consists of nine tracks, each carrying deep meaning and emotion. One of the songs, Vakaita Sewe, is a special dedication to Tinaye Chibaya, an 11-year-old boy whose tragic passing last year touched thousands. Tinaye died from head injuries sustained after being dragged by a horse he was riding during a family outing over the Easter holiday.
In the lead-up to the album launch, Feli Nandi released visuals for Muranda, one of the songs from Ndisiyei. Earlier in the week, she sparked excitement among fans by sharing wedding-themed photos, which have since been revealed to be part of the Muranda music video.
This album follows her debut release, Inzwi, and is expected to offer a fresh yet deeply personal musical experience. Speaking about the upcoming launch, Feli’s manager, Connie Mazani, confirmed that preparations are complete and that the team is overwhelmed by the support from fans and endorsements received.
“The day has finally come, and we are happy that the album is ready. All roads lead to 7 Arts Theatre tomorrow, and we have so much prepared for our fans,” said Mazani.
She further explained that the album narrates real-life experiences, touching on themes such as loss, death, and suicide. “Most of the songs narrate true events. So we can say the theme is about real-life experiences, touching on the loss of death and suicide. We encourage fans to come and witness the launch of this grand album. On this album, there is some experimentation with some new sounds, which is another surprise,” she added.
The album features tracks such as Tongai, Munamato, Ndisiyei, Ahungasiye, Kukoromoka, Muranda, Shwamwari, Fambai Neni, and Vakaita Sewe.
Feli Nandi expressed her excitement about the project, revealing that it has been in the works for over two years. “I am so excited about the album. I prepared for it over two years, and finally, it is ready, so it is going to be an epic night,” she said.
“This has been a personal journey narrated in songs. I heard a lot of people say they connect with our songs. This album is talking to everyone and relating to every situation. Everyone has a story to pick from it.”
Feli Nandi has become a household name in the Zimbabwean music industry. Last year, she became a regular performer at Doek & Slay events and successfully staged a nationwide tour. She also headlined prestigious events such as the OK Grand Challenge and the Chibuku Road to Fame national finals. Beyond Zimbabwe’s borders, Feli performed at the Moto Moto Festival in Germany and toured the UK.
With Ndisiyei, Feli Nandi continues to solidify her place as one of Zimbabwe’s leading voices in contemporary music. Fans and industry insiders alike are eager to see what this new album will bring to her already impressive musical career.
