Killer T to Headline Independence Day Show in Karoi

Zimdancehall sensation Killer T is set to light up Karoi on April 18 as he celebrates Zimbabwe’s Independence Day with a special performance at As U Like It Nite Club. The event, dubbed “Karoi Invasion,” will see the celebrated musician perform alongside the Hot Property Band, supported by local dancehall artists.
The highly anticipated show is being organized by DTL Records under the leadership of Kudzaishe Matondo, who emphasized the significance of bringing a top-tier artist like Killer T to the rural town.
“We have decided to host Killer T in Karoi as a way of allowing rural folks to meet their star at a time when we are celebrating Independence Day,” said Matondo.
He noted that artists of Killer T’s stature rarely perform in smaller towns, making this an exceptional opportunity for local fans to experience his music live.
“We are promising nothing but fireworks at this show,” he added, assuring fans of a memorable Independence Day celebration filled with energetic performances and the unmistakable sounds of Zimdancehall.
Killer T, known for his deep lyrical prowess and signature “popopopopo” chant, remains one of Zimbabwe’s most loved dancehall artists, with hits that continue to dominate the airwaves. His presence in Karoi is expected to draw large crowds, making it one of the key entertainment highlights of the Independence Day festivities.
