Kudakwashe Chindowa: From Solusi University to Launching Panze FM

Kudakwashe Chindowa, a Rusape-born media visionary, is turning his passion into purpose through Panze Podcast and Panze FM. His mission is to create platforms that uplift, educate, and inspire with authentic Zimbabwean voices.

Chindowa’s interest in radio started with admiration for seasoned presenters. “I used to watch other presenters closely. Their ability to connect with people, their confidence, and presence inspired me. That’s where the seed was planted,” he shared.

During his years at Solusi University, that seed grew stronger. He refined his craft and laid the foundation for his media work. In 2023, he launched Panze Podcast, a platform for in-depth conversations featuring respected guests like Gogo Zunidza, Pastor Zunidza, Pastor S Mavezere, and SK. These interviews focused on issues that matter, blending personal stories with insight.

Chindowa’s next step is to expand the podcast into a fully registered radio station, Panze FM. His vision is to reach households across Zimbabwe and beyond. “Panze FM is not just about entertainment. It is faith-driven, focused on meaningful and uplifting conversations,” he said.

He believes Panze FM stands out because of its depth and authenticity. “We are not afraid to explore tough issues, from faith to real-life struggles. It is a platform for anyone seeking inspiration and connection, whether young or old, in cities or rural areas,” he explained.

Outside media, Chindowa is an ambassador for Successvale Junior School and Science College in Harare’s Stoneridge area, where he champions education and youth development.

He sees Panze FM as a project with the potential to grow into a national voice. “Great things often start small. From Solusi classrooms to Zimbabwe’s airwaves, Panze FM is powered by faith, driven by passion, and rooted in the idea of speaking out, panze,” he said.

Chindowa’s journey reflects the determination of young Zimbabwean creatives using media to shape society. For him, Panze FM is not just a dream, but a mission with purpose.
