Former Zimbabwe International Striker Tendai Ndoro Passes Away

Former Zimbabwe international striker Tendai Ndoro has passed away. He was found dead on Monday in his apartment in South Africa. His death has shocked the football communities in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Ndoro, widely known as “Fire,” earned recognition in the South African Premier Soccer League. He first made an impact with Mpumalanga Black Aces before joining Orlando Pirates, where his goal-scoring ability made him a household name. He later played for Ajax Cape Town and Highlands Park, consistently showcasing his attacking instincts and scoring prowess.

On the international stage, Ndoro earned 14 caps for Zimbabwe. He represented the Warriors at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, marking a high point in his career and helping elevate Zimbabwe’s presence in continental football.

Ndoro also had stints abroad, playing in Saudi Arabia for Al-Faisaly and in Oman for Al Ouruba SC. His performances overseas highlighted his talent and adaptability beyond African leagues.
