Delta Corporation Expands Education Support With US$2,1 Million Bursary Programme in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe’s leading beverages manufacturer Delta Corporation has strengthened its commitment to education and human capital development after committing more than US$2,1 million to its expanded bursary programme. The programme is guided by the theme “Educating Today’s Learners, Powering Zimbabwe’s Future,” which underscores the company’s focus on measurable impact.
Murambinda emphasized that Delta Corporation views education as a strategic investment rather than a charitable activity. She said the company wants to contribute directly to Zimbabwe’s national development agenda by strengthening skills across key sectors. According to her, supporting students through bursaries helps build a pipeline of professionals who can contribute to industries such as engineering, health, finance, and manufacturing. The company currently invests close to US$100 000 annually in bursaries, with more than 1 300 students having benefited since the programme began.
