Meagan Good relishes the thought of visiting Mbare.

American actress Meagan Good recently highlited her intentions to visit Zimbabwe, Mbare to be precise. The actress was speaking to Zimbabwean law student Kuda Manase who is studying law at Griffiths University.

In a short video clip shared by Kuda, he tells Meagan that he wants to take her to Zimbabwe. She then reminds him to take her to Mbare, albeit said in a funny accent and sounding like a French word. Kuda repeatedly corrects her to try and say it with more precision.

Mbare has become the hub of the arts industry in Zimbabwe. The poor, high density suburb has indeed gained popurlarity for its musical vibe, trading and crime. Most zimdancehall singers who are diminating the music scene were born and bred in Mbare. These include Enzo ishall, Fantan, Kinnah, Killer T, Seh Calaz and Soul Jah love. Most business ideas are executed in Mbare. Drugs, alcohol and other traditional concotions are pushed in Mbare. The mere fact that an American superstar like Meagan Good has dreams of visiting Mbare clearly highlight its notoriety.

Kuda Manase seems to be friends with many Hollywood A Lister celebs. The bubbly and energetic youth also has his own clothing line called Junk Merch which he Co founded with fellow student Tino, who is based in Miami. Zimbabweans can’t wait to see him bring home Meagan, an event which will completely change the way people perceive Mbare in their eyes.
