V.P Chiwenga back in China on medical grounds

Vice president Constantino Chiwenga is back in China for treatment following a life changing surgery on food poisoning allegations. The v.p is said to have gone back for review and further treatment. This was confirmed by the president Emmerson Mnangagwa at a Thanksgiving and prayer day in Bulawayo recently. He stated,”As we pray, let us remember our Vice-president, Constantino Chiwenga in prayer, who went back to China for review”.

The vice president once remarked that he almost died before being airlifted to South Africa,India and China where he underwent a series of medical procedures to save his life. He returned back home last month looking fit and healthy. Chiwenga joins a list of local politicians who have been flocking abroad to seek medical attention owing to the dilapidated state of the health system in the country. Doctors have been on strike as they baragined for better working conditions and salaries whilst the public has been left to languish in pain and in most instances people have died. Calls have been made for government to prioritize the health sector as the health crisis continued to deepen.

Chiwenga is currently waged in war with his enstranged wife Marry, who is lodged at Chikurubi female prison. After returning from China the give president chased her out of their matrimony home and filed for divorce. Marry was subsequently arrested on attempted murder and money laundering charges.
