ZimLinkUp Returns for Its 10th Edition in May 2026

ZimLinkUp, the premier concert celebrating Zimbabwean music and culture in the diaspora, will return for its 10th edition on May 2–3, 2026, during the UK bank holiday weekend.
The event has grown into a cultural institution and remains the ultimate gathering for Zimbabweans across the UK. ZimLinkUp 2026 promises to be the biggest edition yet, spanning two days in Birmingham. The main concert takes place on Saturday, May 2, followed by a high-energy day party on Sunday, May 3.
The festival connects Zimbabweans from across the UK and Europe, offering an opportunity to dance, network, and celebrate homegrown talent. Organisers confirmed the event will remain in Birmingham, a central hub for Zimbabwean diaspora culture.
Tinashe King, a founding member of ZimLinkUp, explained the venue move: “We had to rethink the setup because of overwhelming demand. Each year, more people want to be part of this experience. For 2026, we’re going bigger, better and we’re making space for everyone.”
Headliners for ZimLinkUp 2026 were announced, with Delroy Shewe and Chillmaster set to take centre stage. Both artists have dominated Zimbabwean playlists over the past year and bring a mix of established appeal and international recognition to the event. Their inclusion highlights ZimLinkUp’s commitment to showcasing top-tier talent relevant to the diaspora audience.
Past editions have featured artists such as Killer T, Freeman, ExQ, Nutty O, Master H, and emerging UK-based Zimbabwean acts. The event has built a reputation for spotlighting both legendary and upcoming artists, offering a platform for Zimbabwean music to thrive abroad.
ZimLinkUp 2026 is more than a concert. It is a celebration of identity, community, and creativity, with live performances, cultural experiences, and a lively atmosphere.
Attendees can expect announcements on additional artists, venue details, and exclusive content in the lead-up to May. Whether fans are drawn by the music, the reunion, or the culture, ZimLinkUp 2026 promises to be an unmissable experience for Zimbabweans in the UK and Europe.
