Accountant wanted at Makonde Rural District Council

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the above vacant post. The person must possess the following:

1 Accountancy degree or
2 CIS at least part C,ZAAT,SAA,CIMA,
ACCA
3 Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in local government

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Reports to the treasurer
2 Supervise the Accounts department
3 Prepare financial statements
4 Prepare final accounts in accordance with the Rural District Council Accounting policy
5 Maintanance of statutory returns including NSSA,ZIMRA,NEC, PENSIONS etc
6 Knowledge of pastel evolution,SAP or promun is an added advantage
