10 Zimbabweans Nominated For African Entertainment Awards-USA

Some great news for all Zimbabweans, ten Zimbabweans in different fields have been nominated for the inaugural of the African Entertainment Awards-USA. The awards ceremony will be held in New Jersey, New York later this year in October.

Voting is now open and it closes on the 31st of August. Here’s the list of the nominated Zimbabweans and the categories they are nominated in.

Tinashe – hottest female single of the year for “2 on”

Selmor Mtukudzi – hottest female single of the year for “Nguva yangu”

Tehn Diamond – best hip hop artist of the year for “happy”

Brian Soko – best producer of the year for “drunk in love”

Danai Gurira – best actress in a film or series for “The Walking Dead”

Tongayi Chirisa – best actor in a film or series for “cruso”

Farai Gundani – Entrepreneur of the year for “Farai Media Group”

Bonnie Deuschle and Celebration Choir – best gospel group

Farai Simoyi – female fashion designer for the “Nicki Minaj fashion collection”

Comrade Fatso – best comedian of the year
