Celeste Music to Release New Gospel EP Celebrating Faith, Hope and Over Two Decades of Ministry

Bulawayo-based Seventh-day Adventist gospel group Celeste Music is preparing to release a brand new EP on its social media platforms on July 31, marking another important milestone in its long journey of faith and ministry. The four-track project comes as the group celebrates a musical and spiritual mission that began in 2002 before it was officially established in 2005 by a group of young people united by their passion for gospel music. Over the years, Celeste Music has grown into a respected ministry that has touched lives through uplifting songs and inspiring performances. The upcoming release reflects the group’s continued commitment to spreading the message of God’s love and offering hope to people facing life’s challenges. As anticipation builds ahead of the launch, the EP is expected to resonate with both long-time supporters and new listeners seeking meaningful gospel music.
Since its formation, Celeste Music has dedicated itself to using music as a powerful tool for ministry rather than simply a form of entertainment. The group has ministered at church services, evangelistic campaigns, youth conferences and community outreach programmes, sharing songs that encourage spiritual growth and strengthen faith. Their performances have consistently focused on delivering messages rooted in biblical principles while creating opportunities for worship and reflection. Through every stage of their journey, the group has remained committed to serving communities through music that inspires hope and unity. This unwavering dedication has helped establish Celeste Music as a valued part of the gospel music community in Bulawayo and beyond.
The new EP features four songs titled Show Me the Way, Ivai Neni, Thembela and Ndaiwana. Each track reflects the group’s personal experiences of faith, perseverance and complete trust in God during different seasons of life. The songs were created with the belief that many people are currently searching for encouragement and reassurance as they navigate personal struggles and uncertainty. By combining heartfelt lyrics with uplifting melodies, Celeste Music hopes the project will remind listeners that God’s presence remains constant even during difficult times. The EP offers messages of comfort, guidance and renewed faith that are relevant to audiences of different ages and backgrounds.
Group member Mhlengi Sibanda explained that the decision to release the EP was inspired by a desire to reach a wider audience with messages of hope and reassurance. According to Sibanda, the group believes many people today need reminders that they are not alone and that God continues to guide those who trust in Him. This vision has shaped every aspect of the project, from the songwriting process to the themes explored in each track. Rather than focusing on commercial success, the group remains committed to creating music that ministers to people’s hearts and strengthens their relationship with God. Their mission reflects a deep sense of purpose that has remained unchanged since the group’s earliest days.
Like many independent gospel ministries, Celeste Music has faced numerous challenges throughout its journey. Limited financial resources have often made it difficult to fund professional recording and production projects while maintaining high musical standards. Members have also had to balance ministry with work responsibilities, education and family commitments, requiring dedication and careful time management. Changes in group membership over the years have presented additional obstacles, yet the ministry has continued to move forward with determination and faith. These experiences have strengthened the group’s resolve and reinforced its belief that perseverance is an essential part of serving God through music.
Despite these challenges, Celeste Music has remained focused on its calling and continues to view every performance as an opportunity to share the gospel. The group believes that music has the power to comfort those who are hurting, encourage those who are discouraged and inspire people to deepen their faith. This perspective has guided their ministry for more than two decades and continues to influence the direction of their music. Every song they release is intended to carry a message that extends beyond entertainment and speaks directly to the spiritual needs of listeners. Their commitment to this purpose has earned them respect within the Seventh-day Adventist community and among gospel music audiences.
Looking ahead, Celeste Music has ambitious plans for the future as it enters a new chapter in its ministry. The group hopes the release of the EP will create opportunities to record more original music and collaborate with other gospel artists who share similar values and goals. They also aim to mentor young musicians by encouraging them to use their musical talents to glorify God and serve their communities. Expanding their reach through digital platforms is another important objective, allowing their music to inspire audiences beyond Zimbabwe’s borders. These aspirations demonstrate the group’s desire to continue growing while remaining faithful to its spiritual mission.
The release of this new EP represents more than just another addition to Celeste Music’s growing catalogue. It celebrates a journey built on faith, commitment and a passion for using music to transform lives. From humble beginnings in 2002 to becoming an established gospel ministry with three albums and now a new EP, the group has consistently remained true to its calling. Their latest project reflects years of spiritual growth and a continued desire to bring hope, encouragement and inspiration to listeners through heartfelt worship. As the July 31 release date approaches, Celeste Music stands ready to begin another chapter of ministry, trusting that its music will continue drawing people closer to Christ while spreading messages of faith and hope to communities across Zimbabwe and beyond.
