The trio has been given up to February 1 to
report for training.

The players have not been reporting for
training since the Harare giants started their
pre-season training at their new training
ground RBZ Sports Club last week where they
are also assessing a number of new players
with the hope of handing them contracts
ahead of the start of the new campaign.

Their no-show at the club’s training session
has fuelled speculation they could be leaving
the club which has already lost some of their
key players.
Team manager George Gumbo said although
they had asked the players to report for
training, they asked to be excused saying they
were attending to personal issues.
Gumbo said Pfumbidzai had told him he was
unwell, but promised to report for duty while
the other two players Makatuka and Chungwa
had just told him they were attending to
family issues.
He, however, revealed he would give them a
one week grace period to report for training.

“Officially we haven’t started training. We
have just been assessing new players who came
for trials but we had asked all our players to
come for training but these three gave us
excuses. We are now giving them up to
February 1 to report for training. If they fail
to report for training again that is when we
will try to establish what they are up to. At
the moment we just assume they have personal
issues they are attending to,” said Gumbo.

The trio had been linked with moves to
Dynamos or How Mine who also snapped up ex-
Caps United skipper Tapiwa Khumbuyani
