Indosakusa The Morning Star Set to Release 13th Album Next Month

Gospel ensemble Indosakusa The Morning Star is set to release its 13th album next month, marking over two decades of musical contribution and dedication. The group was formed on May 7, 2001, in Mapane Village, Enqameni, Gwanda, originally under the name Impumelelo Shining Stars. In 2018, they rebranded to Indosakusa The Morning Star to reflect their evolving musical vision and continued commitment to gospel music. Since their debut album Emthonjeni, they have produced 12 albums, including Umhlaba Uyajikajika, Ngeke Ehluleke, Love One Another, Avulekile Amazulu, Gospel Vol 1 and 2, and their latest project, Isililo Sentandane. Each release has reinforced their reputation for harmonies that blend traditional rhythms with messages of hope and encouragement, earning them a loyal fan base.
Group leader Oscar K Siziba, also known as Thobela, said the upcoming album will connect with listeners both spiritually and socially. He emphasized that the project is designed to speak directly to the challenges and realities of modern life while inspiring faith and resilience. “This album is full of fire and power,” he said, highlighting that each track carries meaningful messages that can uplift and encourage listeners. Recording will take place in South Africa, and the album will feature 10 tracks showcasing a variety of musical styles and themes. The launch is scheduled for April 17 in Bulawayo, an event expected to attract fans and supporters eager to experience the ensemble’s dynamic performance.
