The album, launched on 3 May 2025 at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare, set the stage for a remarkable international journey. Following the local launch, Prayzah performed at the Bira Rembira International Festival before taking the tour abroad, beginning with a sold-out show at The Hangar in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, on 25 May. His North American fans saw him live in July during a Toronto performance that drew large crowds, while the African leg included a standout show at Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg on 15 November.
Gateway Stream Media Manager Elton Kurima described HICC as the ideal venue for the tour’s final act. “The Harare International Conference Centre is Zimbabwe’s premier concert venue, offering world-class sound, lighting, and flexible space for up to 4,500 guests. Hosting the finale here celebrates the successful album rollout and the seamless year-long international journey,” he said.
The Shutdown promises a high-profile celebration, highlighting Prayzah’s influence on the global music stage and his continued impact on Zimbabwean music. Kurima emphasized that the venue’s prestige, scale, and technical capabilities will make the concert an unforgettable live experience.
