Rising Kwekwe Musician Moxa Set to Make Waves with Debut EP No Limits

Rising Kwekwe-based musician Moxa is poised to shake up Zimbabwe’s music scene with the release of his debut EP, No Limits, scheduled to drop on June 21.

Signed under Maverick Music Group, Moxa—real name Joshua Moyo—has steadily built a reputation as a bold and talented voice emerging from Kwekwe. The young artiste believes his name reflects his boundless aspirations.

“Moxa simply means I am destined for greatness,” he explained, adding that he strives to prove this with every beat and lyric he creates.

Speaking to NewsDay Life & Style, Moxa shared that his passion for music has been a lifelong journey.

“I make music because I’m passionate about it. I just love making music,” he said.

This pure love for the craft shines through in his forthcoming EP. No Limits will feature four original tracks, each crafted to showcase his lyrical depth and unique musical style.

“The upcoming EP will convey a bold message to listeners: there are no limits in life. We should not just aim for the moon, we should aim for the stars,” Moxa said.

Moxa believes his Kwekwe origins bring a distinctive flavour to Zimbabwe’s evolving music landscape.

The artist views No Limits not just as a personal milestone but as an invitation for listeners to dream big and break barriers.
