Sinach Set to Minister at Today’s Woman Conference in Harare
Gospel singer Sinach has arrived in Harare ahead of her much-anticipated appearance at the Today’s Woman Conference. Known globally for her hit songs ‘Way Maker’ and ‘I Know Who I Am’, Sinach described her participation as a ministration rather than a performance.
“It’s not a performance, it’s a ministration and we’re coming to just put our hearts out to God and just worship. All lovers of Jesus are coming together to just worship Him so I’m looking forward to seeing all of you as we lift our hearts with one voice,” she said.
Dr Larvene Simukai, conference director speaking on behalf of Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti, expressed excitement about Sinach’s presence. She invited women from all walks of life to attend the event.
“At Today’s Woman Conference we are so excited to welcome Sinach. Come and hear the Word, get some teaching and also enjoy the ministry of Sinach. We will have Today’s Woman Praise Night on Saturday night,” Dr Simukai said.
Sinach last performed in Zimbabwe in 2022 during the “It’s Time Live With Sinach” concert at the Harare International Conference Centre. Since then, she has maintained her global presence, performing in over 50 countries. Her song “Way Maker” won Song of the Year at the 51st GMA Dove Awards, making her the first Nigerian to receive this honor. Over 60 Christian artists, including Michael W. Smith and Bethel Music, have covered her songs. She is married to Joseph Egbu, a pastor at Christ Embassy.
The Today’s Woman Conference will cover a range of topics, including women’s health, mental health, parenting children with special needs, marriage, single parenting, entrepreneurship, and spiritual growth. Renowned speakers from around the world will provide insights and practical advice to attendees.
Sinach will minister daily throughout the conference, offering attendees a chance to worship and connect through her music. This event promises to be a landmark gathering for women seeking spiritual and personal growth.
