Spirit of Praise Releases “Ndinomira PaJordan” Featuring Everton Mlalazi
South African gospel ensemble Spirit of Praise (SOP) has unveiled “Ndinomira PaJordan,” a highly anticipated track featuring Zimbabwean gospel artist Everton Mlalazi. The song appears on SOP’s latest album, Spirit of Praise 11, recorded live at the SunBet Arena in Tshwane, South Africa.
Sung in Ndebele and Shona, “Ndinomira PaJordan” carries a message of hope, reflecting on the Christian promise of eternal rest in the “beautiful Promised Land” of Canaan. The track joins other notable releases from Spirit of Praise 11, including “Speak Lord” by Xola Toto, “Ufanele” by Omega Khunou, and “Usibiyele” sung by Canaan Nyathi.
The timing of the release coincides with SOP’s performance in Bulawayo as part of their Next Level Tour. The lineup for the evening features key members Dumi Mkokstad, Ayanda Ntanzi, Lufuno Dagada, Mpumi Mtsweni, Omega Khunou, Sindi Ntombela, Xola Toto, Zaza Mokhethi, along with Zimbabwean artistes Everton Mlalazi and Canaan Nyathi. The event will be elevated by the presence of seasoned psalmist and Pastor Mthunzi Namba, a foundational figure in the creation of Joyous Celebration, who will serve as guest of honour.
Everton Mlalazi, returning to his hometown, described his experience with SOP as transformative. He said the ensemble has contributed to his spiritual, musical, and personal growth. “SOP is a family that values excellence, unity, and the pursuit of God’s presence. Being surrounded by such gifted and disciplined ministers has stretched and sharpened me in the best ways,” Mlalazi explained. He added that performing with SOP has pushed him to truly embody the message in his songs, deepening his connection to the ministry and the Word.
Tonight, SOP aims to bring sounds of hope and a message of salvation to Bulawayo, promising a night of high praise and worship that reflects the group’s commitment to musical excellence and spiritual impact.
