Tafadzwa Kuveya: Balancing Modelling, Pageantry and a Professional Career

Tafadzwa Kuveya, Miss Glamour Zimbabwe 2025, is redefining what it means to balance a professional career with a rising modelling profile. At 22, she manages the demands of corporate life, pageantry, and entrepreneurship through effective time management, clear boundaries, and a strong support system.

Kuveya’s modelling journey began in 2025, the same year she was crowned Miss Glamour Zimbabwe. Her early achievements in pageantry quickly propelled her onto the international stage, representing Zimbabwe at the Miss Africa International Pageant in Abuja, Nigeria.

“Last year was an exciting year for me. It brought new opportunities, and I got to be in spaces I had not expected. I officially started my modelling career last year and immediately got the opportunity to be Miss Glamour Zimbabwe 2025,” Kuveya shared.

Before her pageantry success, Kuveya was focused on a corporate career. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and completed her ACCA exams in 2024. Kuveya joined the workforce prepared to excel in accounting but found herself balancing modelling and professional commitments in 2025.

Her role as Miss Glamour Zimbabwe opened doors to international experiences, including participating in the Miss Africa International Pageant. In Nigeria, she proudly represented her country, earning recognition for the Best Evening Gown during the final competition.

“Not many people get the opportunity to participate in an international pageant and represent their country. I am privileged that my first year as a pageant model was filled with great opportunities. It was not flawless, but it was also full of challenges and learning experiences,” she said.

In addition to her modelling and pageant responsibilities, Kuveya works as a senior audit associate at MGI Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe. Her professionalism and diligence have earned her respect within the corporate sector.

Beyond modelling and corporate life, Kuveya is an entrepreneur. She founded Awack Beauty at 20, promoting the empowering motto “Be Bold and Beautiful.” The brand encourages women to embrace individuality and confidence, reflecting Kuveya’s belief that true beauty stems from self-assurance and purpose.

Kuveya’s journey demonstrates that with discipline, passion, and resilience, it is possible to pursue multiple ambitions simultaneously. She continues to develop her modelling career while maintaining professional excellence and inspiring young women through her brand and achievements in pageantry.
