Prophet Bruce Edwards Makes Musical Debut on Isaac Mtha Eland’s “Umusa”

Prominent man of the cloth, Prophet Bruce Edwards, has described music as one of the most powerful tools for ministry after featuring on “Umusa,” a new single by England-based Zimbabwean gospel artiste Isaac Mtha Eland. The collaboration marks Prophet Edwards’ debut in the music scene, and the track is already receiving airplay on local radio stations.

Prophet Edwards said the recording experience was a refreshing shift from his usual mode of ministering. “Isaac Mtha Eland reached out and asked if I’d like to collaborate. I loved the vibe of the track, so I recorded my part and sent it over; that’s how the feature came together,” he explained. He added that while ministering on stage focuses on energy and audience connection, recording in the studio requires precision and emotion.

Prophet Edwards emphasized the unique power of music to touch lives. “I believe music is one of the most powerful tools for ministry. It speaks directly to the soul. Through gospel music, we share the message of Christ in a way that’s relatable and uplifting, and sometimes it reaches people who might never hear that message otherwise,” he said. He also revealed that visuals for “Umusa” are already in the planning stages, with a music video expected to be released soon.

When asked about future musical projects, Prophet Edwards hinted at more collaborations on the way. “By God’s grace, yes. I’m already working on a few songs and praying they’ll touch even more lives. I’m excited for what’s next,” he said. With his debut already gaining attention, fans can look forward to seeing Prophet Edwards continue to use music as a tool to inspire and uplift.
