Billiat named in CAF team of the week

Khama Billiat has been duly recognised for his contribution in ensuring Kaizer chiefs booked a berth in the Caf champions league after being named in the Caf matchday 6 team of the week.

Kaizer Chiefs were on the brink of elimination when Billiat cooly slotted home a crucial equaliser which ensured Kaizer chiefs clawed their way back from 2-1 down to earn a 2 all draw. The draw took Chiefs points tally to 9 and was enough to seal a qualification spot for Amakhosi in the last 8.

Billiat only recently returned from injury after spending weeks out of action. The Zimbabwean international has had a rough time since joining Kaizer Chiefs where he has been subject to much criticism over a perceived lack of consistency.

The Warriors player however silenced critics at the weekend and will gain confidence from his contribution in Kaizer chiefs crucial victory over AC Horoya of Guinea.
