Caps part ways with Darlington Dodo
Caps United have parted ways with their head coach Darlington Dodo Zim Soccernet can reveal. The departure of Dodo follows Caps United failure to progress to the quarter finals of the Chibuku Super Cup where Harare City and Dynamos progressed to the last 8 from the group in which Caps United had been placed.
Makepekepe are yet to announce Dodo’s replacement but Caps United president Farai Jere confirmed Dodo is no longer in charge of the Green Machine.
Caps United and Dodo have mutually agreed to part ways with the former green machine gaffer reportedly given an exit package which includes the clubs company car he was using.
Dodo took over from Lloyd Chitembwe and missed out on the 2019 league championship after crashing to a decisive defeat to FC Platinum on the final day.
After being handed with an opportunity to make an impression in the Chibuku Super Cup, Dodo was unable to take the Green Machine beyond the group phase culminating in the termination of his contract.
