Chipezeze drops down Baroka pecking order
Zimbabwe national soccer team goalkeeper Elvis chipezeze has dropped down the pecking order at South African premiership side Baroka FC after watching from the sidelines in his sides last two outings.
Baroka United played out a 1 all draw with Cape Town City at the weekend having been involved in another stalemate with Kaizer Chiefs in their previous outing. In the last two encounters Chipezeze has been relegated to the bench with Oscarine Masuluke starting for Baroka.
The warriors technical department will be watching with keen interest as the clock ticks towards Zimbabwe’s next Afcon assignments against Botswana and Zambia slated for March. Chipezeze started in Zimbabwe’s away fixture against Algeria before Talbert Shumba was drafted in for the reverse fixture.
The coming month will be a crucial phase for Chipezeze if he is to reclaim a place in the warriors side given Tatenda Mukuruva and Martin Mapisa are both doing well for their clubs.
