Katema returns to DeMbare

Former Mushowani Stars FC striker Evans Katema has made an emotional return to Harare giants Dynamos barely two years after leaving the club for Zambia’s Zanaco FC.

Katema had joined a pool of Zimbabweans to cross to the north of Zambezi after entering a two-year agreement deal with the Zambian outfit in February 2020.

The striker has signed for DeMbare on a free transfer upon the expiry of his contract with the Zanaco

Confirming the news Dynamos wrote on their official Twitter page and said; “Evans Katema is back after leaving Chazunguza for Zambian side Zanaco at the end of the 2020 Premier Soccer League season. He had joined us mid-season in 2019, scoring six goals before his move. Welcome back Evans.” 

The former Warriors player becomes the Glamour Boys third signing after Ralph Kawondera from FC Platinum and Brendon Mpofu Caps United.
