Katsande on target in SA

Former Warriors captain Willard Katsande was on target for Sekhukhune United who claimed a 2 nil victory over Amazulu at the the Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg yesterday.

After failing to open the scoring in the first half Sekhukhune were finally rewarded for their enterprising play soon after the restart when Tlotlo Leepile’s corner kick was flicked on at the near post by Pogiso Mahlangu before being met by an alert Willard Katsande who bundled the ball home at the far post.

A counter attack would see Sekhukhune making the most of a 3 versus 3 situation in which Tshediso Patjie beat his marker on the left-hand side before setting up Chibuike Ohizu who grabbed a second for the hosts.

Sekhukhune emerged 2 nil victors and moved into fourth place on the Dtsv premiership standings.
