Knox Mutizwa Wins FIFA Sanction Against Golden Arrows Over Unpaid Wages

Striker Knox Mutizwa has secured a FIFA ruling after the world football body determined that Golden Arrows failed to pay him the wages owed. Mutizwa, who left Arrows at the end of last season, is currently playing for Richards Bay FC.
After waiting for his outstanding payments, Mutizwa brought the matter to FIFA, which acted swiftly. According to a letter obtained by iDiski Times, Golden Arrows did not comply with the ruling and failed to meet their financial obligations to the forward.
As a result, FIFA has imposed a full ban on Golden Arrows, preventing the club from registering any new players at both national and international levels. The ban will remain until Mutizwa receives the full amount owed and can extend for up to three registration periods.
FIFA has instructed the South African Football Association to enforce the ban immediately. Golden Arrows are reportedly reviewing the situation internally before issuing an official statement.
This ruling highlights the importance of clubs meeting contractual obligations and demonstrates FIFA’s willingness to act decisively to protect players’ rights.
