Tino gets quarter of an hour as Lyon spurn two goal lead
Zimbabwe international tinotenda Kadewere was today given a run of just over a quater of an hour as Olympique Lyon were held to a 3 all draw by Clermont Foot today.
After racing into a 3-1 lead courtsey of a Mousa Dembele brace and another strike by Lucas Paqueta, Lyon looked to be flying high up until the visitor’s pulled a goal back in the 80th minute.
Lyon were then stunned when Elbasan Rashani grabbed an injury time equaliser much to the dismay of the Lyon head coach Peter Bosz. Lyon are yet to register a win after crashing to a 3 nil loss at the hands of Angers on the opening weekend of the French Ligue 1.
Tino Kadewere who started from the bench was introduced in the 74th minute and had just above a quater of an hour on the pitch.
The Zimbabwean forward is among players expected to be called up to the national team for the World Cup qualifier against South Africa slated for the national sports stadium on 3 September.
