Zimbabwean Born Actress Memory Savanhu Makes It Big In Nollywood

Zimbabwean born- Nigerian based actress Memory Savanhu is making big waves in the Nigerian Film industry better known as Nollywood.

Savanhu has been nominated for the Zimbabwe International Women Awards for her work in Nollywood. The awards ceremony will take place in October.

Memory has been featured in Nollywood movies for the past eight years and has been recognized in Nigeria as an actress. Savanhu also works behind the scenes having produced the film ‘Distance Between’ with Rita Dominic and Mercy Johnson.

The nominated actress who attended the New York Film Academy expressed her dream of bringing all the knowledge back to Zimbabwe saying, “I would want to also share what I have been taught by African film legends, hence soon I am to shoot a Zimbabwean film.”
