Amanda du Pont pens down emotional tribute to late grandma

Amanda du pont recently opened up about loss of her grandmother. The television presenter and actress shared an emotional message on social media announcing the death of her granny whom she shared a deep bond with. She wrote,”I lost my gogo last night, if you know me well, you’d know she was my fav. Everything in my body is aching and so painful”.

Amanda said her granny had promised to wait until she got married before kicking the bucket but alas God had other plans. She also said her granny had hinted that she was getting tired over the years.

Amanda’s touching tribute to her granny had fans all emotional and sending her some love. Amanda was clearly devastated from her message and distressed.

Amanda is currently acing her role in popular soapie Skeem Saam as the notorious Lelo Mthiyane, a hot headed and cunning ex convict. She has been able to portray the role of a wicked and plot scheming beautiful lady prepared to destroy anything in her path.

Amanda and her granny we’re evidently in good books. The actress however said she was happy that her granny is now resting and no longer in pain. She also showed signs of gratification that she had fullfilled her grandmother’s wishes of getting married
