Date Set for Miss Teen of the Universe Zimbabwe 2025 Grand Finale
The countdown has begun for one of Zimbabwe’s most exciting youth pageants, as the much-anticipated second edition of Miss Teen of the Universe Zimbabwe is officially set for July 26, 2025. This year’s event promises to be bigger and more glamorous than ever before.
According to the pageant’s spokesperson, Mbulelo Mpofu, preparations are in their final stretch, with all systems go for a spectacular evening. After months of fierce competition, 14 finalists are ready to showcase their beauty, talent, and intellect at the grand finale, which will take place at the Africa Sun Holiday Inn on Samora Machel Avenue in Harare. The event kicks off at 18:00hrs.
Running under the theme “Empowering the Girl Child by Promoting Culture and Heritage towards Vision 2030,” the 2025 edition seeks to highlight the important role young women play in community building and cultural preservation. Mpofu emphasized that the event is more than just a beauty contest—it’s a celebration of dedication, talent, and social impact.
“The grand finale is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of the hard work and dedication of our contestants,” said Mpofu. “We are excited to showcase their talents and recognise their contributions to our community. It all comes full circle on the 26th of July as we find out who succeeds last year’s winner, who made us proud in India.”
One of the major highlights this year is the introduction of a locally-designed crown for the queen, courtesy of the Women in Gemstones Association of Zimbabwe (WIGAZ). This marks a significant step towards promoting local craftsmanship and supporting Zimbabwean industries.

Miss Teen of the Universe Zimbabwe is part of the global Universe pageant founded in India by Sourav Anand. The competition focuses on teenage girls aged between 15 and 20 years, offering them a platform to showcase their modelling skills while advocating for social change and community development.
With the stage set and the finalists eager to shine, all eyes will be on Harare this July as the country crowns its next teenage ambassador to represent Zimbabwe on the international stage.
