Imaginery men’s conference brings humour to valentines
An imaginary event running from the 12th to the 15th of February 2019 has been created by men. It is called the men’s conference. It has been said to be a platform where men are set to convene and reflect on their lives, marriages, relationships and future goals. The imaginary event even has an MC, the comic pastor.
An imaginary programme has been drafted for the occasion with topical issues such as abuse, size, performance, handling rich women and sex tapes being discussed. Speakers slated to make presentations include Ginimbi, Stunner, Titan, Sir Wicknell Chivhayo and a special guest appearance by South African superstar Cassper Nyovest. Suffice to say, the conference is meant to allow men to meditate on their present statuses and prepare them for a better future.
Activities for the three day conference include a beer drinking competition and a parade by beautiful ladies. Posb, Cbz and Zetdc have been mockingly cited as the sponsors of the event. The fictitious men’s conference has come at a time when the country is reeling from the shock of a painful economic crunch and will hopefully motivate these men to come up with constructive ideas for reform.
Others have labelled the event as a scapegoat for men to escape demands from their loved ones to buy Valentine’s day gifts as they will be busy attending their imaginary conference which conveniently finishes after Valentine’s day.
Men have often had to have the responsibility of spoiling their partners but in a harsh economic environment one could be forgiven for coming up with the idea of creating an imaginary conference.
