Job Sikhala sends social media into overdrive.

MDC A chief whip and vice chairman Job Sikhala is currently trending after being photographed in an undersized waistcoat. The politician wore a classic blue suit with a small waistcoat that looked like it was about to burst. His huge belly could be seen bulging under the tiny waistcoat.

Sikhala has certainly caused furore online with most people questioning his reason for wearing such a tiny piece of clothing that was evidently buckling ungder immense pressure from his overgrown belly. The politician however looked unpertubed and at peace with his choice of clothing. Online fashion police were quick to point out the fashion disaster and local broadcaster ZBC news online platform also had nasty comments after they posted the image.

Sikhala might have simply opted to do away with the waistcoat and simply wear his suit. But like all those who want to make a fashion statement, he went ahead with donning his full suit, making a ridicule of himself in the process.

Sikhala made the headlines this year after being arrested for trying to subvert Mnangagwa. He had uttered at a rally that he was going to remove the president from power before 2023. He was freed on5 000 rtgs bail and his trial is yet to kick off. Sikhala is also a lawyer and one of the sharp legal brains within the MDC A.
