She Elevates Forum Set to Empower Young Women in Bulawayo

Youth empowerment advocate Noxolo Dube is set to host the She Elevates Forum in Bulawayo on February 21, bringing a focused and action-driven platform for young women. The event aims to equip girls with leadership skills and practical strategies to generate income and participate in economic growth. Positioned as a high-impact gathering, the forum targets young women who want to move beyond motivation and take clear steps toward personal and professional development. Organisers expect strong participation from aspiring entrepreneurs, students and community leaders ready to sharpen their capabilities.

The forum operates under the JB Dondolo I-Elevate Project Lydia, founded by Lumbie Mlambo in honour of her late mother. The initiative focuses on structured empowerment through mentorship and skills development, ensuring young women gain tools that translate into real opportunities. Dube stressed that the forum is designed to deliver measurable impact rather than temporary inspiration. She emphasized that empowerment must be consistent, practical and sustainable to drive meaningful change in communities.

The She Elevates Forum will challenge participants to see themselves as leaders, entrepreneurs and active contributors to national development. Key focus areas include tourism, innovation and economic participation, aligning with Zimbabwe’s growing emphasis on youth-driven growth. Through interactive sessions and expert insights, attendees will gain knowledge that can be applied immediately in business, career planning and community projects. The event aims to close the gap between potential and execution by providing clear pathways for growth.

Dube’s work is rooted in grassroots initiatives through The Noble Performing Arts Organisation and ERGY Africa, where she has supported underserved communities with education, vocational training and entrepreneurship mentorship. Her experience working directly with young people informs the structure of the forum, ensuring relevance and practical value. The event will feature speakers from diverse sectors including climate advocacy, media, mental health and business, offering both knowledge and networking opportunities.

As a contestant in Miss Tourism Zimbabwe, Dube connects women’s empowerment with tourism and cultural promotion. She believes strong women drive strong communities, which in turn support tourism growth and national development. The forum will take place at Nexus Rooftop from 1pm to 3pm, creating a focused environment for learning and collaboration. With its clear agenda and practical approach, the She Elevates Forum positions itself as a catalyst for empowering young women to take charge of their futures and contribute meaningfully to Zimbabwe’s economy.
