While fans anticipate Jah Prayzah’s upcoming album, the star has an exciting project coming up. He has landed the biggest collaboration of his career after he team up with Africa’s biggest names. He teamed up with five other African artists on a composition that will be used as the official theme song at the inaugural edition of the Africa Leaders 4 Change Awards .
The awards will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 21 November. The awards are hosted by Celebs 4 Change, a South Africa-based organisation that identifies, recognises and rewards organisations doing exceptional work in all areas of philanthropy.
He features alongside Senegalese artists Akon and Youssou N’Dour, South Africa’s Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Nigeria’s P-Square, and the DRC’s Fally Ipupa on a song titled “The Song Of Africa”. The song was written and produced by one of Akon’s top producers, Hakim.
The track will be officially launched at the L’opulence lounge in Sandton, Johannesburg. It will be performed for the first time at the awards ceremony in November.
A percentage of the proceeds of the Africa Leaders 4 Change Awards will be donated to rebuilding schools and hospitals in Africa
