Queen Vee nominated for two awards in South Africa.

Zimbabwean rnb singer Queen Vee has been nominated for two awards at the African Social Entertainment Awards to be held in Johannesburg on 30 June. The singer was nominated in the Best female artiste category as well as the most fashionable female artist. She will be up against other phenomenal ladies such as Nadai Nakai, who is also a Zimbabwean rapper, Boity and Bonang.

Queen Vee said that she felt proud and humbled by the recognition. Indeed being counted amongst fashion greats such as Boity and Bonang is a revelation of her standing in the fashion world. Queen Vee remarked, ” I feel extremely blessed. It’s an amazing feeling and it a humbling and encouraging to me as an artiste. I, as a true Zimbabwean, will always be proud to raise my flag high”. She is yet another local celebrity making waves regionally.

Queen Vee has alaways had an eye for fashion. She was crowned Miss Zimbabwe in 2008 and has been in the music industry since 2010. She mainly gives credit to fellow musician Buffalo Souljah who recognized her and nurtured her talent. Since then, Queen Vee has had notable achievements to her name. She has worked together with big names such as Da Les, L Tido and Ziyon. Her songs include Mari Mari and Nobody. Most of her songs have been played in big platforms such as Trace Africa, DStv radio channels and Mtv base.

Most people are rooting for Queen Bee to scoop both awards on the 30th of June. She hereself acknowledged that she was optimistic in spite of the string competition. She said her fashion choices were inspired by Beyonce and Rihanna together with her own spin. Queen Vee is also an accomplished dancer.
