Breaking News: AKA And DJ Zinthle Call It Quits

Say it ain’t so, if DJ Zinthle and rapper AKA have called it quits on their three year relationship. DJ Zinthle took to social media to cornfirm the “amicable split”.

In a joint statement posted on DJ Zinhle’s website, it suggests the separation was amicable. “After a great deal of thought, reflection and discussion we have decided to end our relationship of three years. We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it”, she wrote.

The couple states that they remain in each other’s good books and wish each other the best. “We both deeply care for each other and remain close friends as well as co-parents to our wonderful baby Kairo, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority.”

The once South African power couple said they will not answer any further questions concerning their relationship and asked for privacy in the difficult times.

The news comes out only few months after they welcomed their first and only child together, Baby Kairo.
