The South Africa-based musician, who rose to fame with the song Maria in the early 2000’s, has become one of the most sought-after urban grooves performers Enock ‘Nox’ Guni. He is affectionately known as Nox, who works as a business development executive for a training and recruitment company and gets to concentrate on his music after work but there’s a lot we probably don’t know about the star.

1. Born on 06 November 1983 in Zaka Rinopisa, Masvingo

2. Nox comes from a family of six with him being the second born

3. He did his Primary Education at Kuwadzana 3 Primary school and his Secondary Education at Ellis Robins High School and Morgan High School, also did his University studies at Midlands State University and University of South Africa.

4. Nox started his music career with an audition at a local talent show called Superstar in 2002

5. In 2004  Nox released his first album titled “Wandipengesa” to which the hit single “maria”  was also included

6. later in 2006 he joined a group ‘Chigutiro’ and did the group anthem with Blush,Trinta and Ngoni

7. He went on to join a group Afrounik  in 2007which comprised Tawanda Mugodi and Trevor Dongo

8. The talented singer also launched his own clothing label called “Ice n Roses” which specialises in casual and smart wear.

9. Nox was once said to be dating Belinda Mutinhiri who was seven years his senior.

10. His Biggest role model is Jesus .
