Zimbabwean television host and media personality Ruvheneko is currently in Rwanda for the Youth Connect Africa conference. The bubbly star is the host and is currently making waves on the regional scene. Ruvheneko, who had an earlier encounter with Paul Kagame this year as the ountry celebrated it’s genocide commemorations, made another date with the statesman as she was invited to host the Youth Africa Connect.
The three day event will run from the 9th to the 11 the of October 2019. Ruvheneko has been showing off her amazing host skills. She tweeted, “What you say to yourself is the most powerful thing anyone can say to you”, as she prepared to go in stage.
The event has seen more than 8 000 people from all over Africa converging to network. The theme is “Boosting an industrious young Africa”. Ruvheneko confirmed that every African country had sent a representative. She also stated that people who are in attendance include ambassadors, 25 Minister’s of youth, heads of delegation, business leaders, donors,activists, the unemployed, the employed and every other person.
Several singers are also performing at the conference including Nigerian singer Patoranking, Rwandan Bruce Melodie and Meddy among a whole lot of others. The event is a great platform for the young blood of Africa to network and come up with ideas to enhance livelihoods and production in their continent. Rwanda is fast eerging as a growing nation in terms of development. It recently launched a smartphone manufacturing plant.
