The Office of Deputy Representative of UNICEF Thailand Country Office is seeking a qualified individual to provide research assistance on user experiences of biometric identification in lower income and vulnerable community.

Eligibilities
To qualify as an advocate:
• Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate within the past 2 years of a degree programme in an undergraduate or graduate school, preferably in Business Administration, Information Management, Public administration, Political Science, etc.;
• Experiences in conducting interviews, preferably in technical subjects and with families and in remote areas are a plus;
• Proficient in English and Thai. Knowledge in local dialect or minority language in Thailand would be an asset;
• Excellent research and organizational skills – being able to schedule interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) of 5-6 people each; assist in conducting interviews; write up notes; and to think laterally about who else would be useful to interview;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Have no immediate relatives (e.g. father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and
• Have no other relatives in the line of authority which the intern will report to.
