ASSISTANT MANAGER RETAIL BANKING
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Effective management of customer accounts and mandates.
2. Ensure proper and timeous reconciliation of the sub ledger to the General ledger on a monthly basis.
3. Prepare reconciliations of suspense accounts.
4. Prepare end of year financial reports
5. Effective Risk management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidates should have
1. A degree in Banking and Finance or any other Business degree.
2. A relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
3.3 years relevant banking experience, 2 of which just have been at supervisory level.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
1. Sound knowledge of banking products and services. 2. Good leadership and organizing skills. 3. Effective interpersonal and conceptual skills. 4. Good stakeholder management. 5. Good analytical skills. 6. Computer literacy.
SUPERVISOR TELLERS
Key DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Supervising the bulk of retail deposits and payments.
2. Vault custodianship
3. Prepare cash requisitions
4. Authorisation of cash withdrawal instructions and inter teller transactions
5. Prepare cash reports and returns
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidates should have:
1. Diploma in e.g IOBZ,ACCA,Finance and Banking, Accounting.
2. A degree will be an added advantage
3. 3 years relevant banking experience
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
1. Good communication skills 2. Good analytical and numerical skills 3. Computer literate
