T Gonzi ridiculed for his donation

T Gonzi seems to attract trouble at every turn. The rapper was at it again this week and had to deal with loads of nasty comments after his latest post. T Gonzi posted an image of his latest visit to his grandmother and the 10 kg bag of mealie meal and a two litre bottle of cooking oil that he had bought for her. He then advised that he had bought some groceries for his grandma during this difficult period.

This did not go down well with some of his loyal fans who quizzed him whether the two food items qualified as grocery. Some said grocery meant buying good with a corresponding condiment such as butter to go along with bread or sugar to go along with coffee. They questioned how the grandma was going to pair mealie meal and cooking oil without relish.

The nasty comments immediately propelled T Gonzi into defensive mode. He clapped back at the scathing attacks. The rapper said he had done his best and people had no right to judge him. One particular fan who had made the most mockery out of the said groceries received the tongue lashing of his life. T Gonzi proceeded to block him.

Celebrities have been lambasted for making donations and then posting it on social media. While others might be publicizing their donations in order to encourage others to do the same, others have been reprimanded for merely trying to show off. T Gonzi seems to have attracted the wrong crowd this time.
