He is literally on everyone’s lips in terms of Zimbabwean hip-hop. Crossing borders…with music. He is introducing a new take on Zimbabwean rap music as he raps in his native Ndebele. You’ve probably seen the photo with fellow rappers like Tehn Diamond and South African rapper Cassper Nyovest but Calvin has come a long way to be where he is now.

3. He started out his career as a gospel singer.

4. He released sixteen mixtapes before his debut album.

6. His recent hit song caught South African hip hop artist Cassper Nyovest which they did a collaboration on the remix. The zkhipani remix went on to become the most downloaded hip hop song in Zimbabwe.

7. The zkhipani video was sponsored by Zimbabwean-Hollywood make-up artist Jackie Mgido.

8. He has a clothing line of snapbacks and tee-shirts called Grade street.
