Jah Prayzah Named The Most Influential Singer Under 40 By StarFM’s People’s Choice Awards
The masses have spoken! Jah Prayzah is the most influential singer under forty in the whole of Zimbabwe. The star received the nod from the StarFM People’s Choice Awards over the weekend.
At the Awards ceremony held on Saturday at the HICC, the Jerusarema singer was the biggest winner of the night walking away with two Awards, Most Influential Singer Under 40 and the Best Artist of the Year award.
“Words cannot fully express how I’m feeling right now. What I want to do is just to thank you for the support that you give me. Without you I wouldn’t have received these awards, so I say they also belong to you”, said Jah Prayzah.
His celebrity buddy Sulumani Chimbetu scooped the award for Best Song of the Year for his hit “Nyuchi”. Wicknell Chivayo was named Businessman of the Year. Killer T won Album of the Year Award and Nyaradzo Mashayamombe took the Humanitarian Award.
